Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CAD CAM Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and programming CAD/CAM models for manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, laser cutting, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing. The role requires expertise in CAD software, CAM programming, and precision engineering to ensure high-quality production of components and prototypes.
Key Responsibilities:
πΉ Create 2D & 3D CAD models using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CATIA
πΉ Develop CAM programs for CNC milling, turning, laser cutting, and other machining processes
πΉ Optimize tool paths and machining strategies for precision and efficiency
πΉ Generate technical drawings & manufacturing blueprints with GD&T standards
πΉ Collaborate with engineers & production teams to ensure manufacturability
πΉ Perform design modifications & improvements based on customer and production requirements
πΉ Ensure quality control & minimize material waste through efficient design
πΉ Work with sheet metal, plastics, and various materials for prototyping and mass production
πΉ Stay updated with industry trends & advancements in CAD/CAM technology
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelorβs/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
β
Proficiency in CAD software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Creo, etc.
β
Experience with CAM software: Mastercam, Powermill, Edgecam, or similar
β
Knowledge of CNC programming (G-Code & M-Code)
β
Understanding of machining processes & manufacturing techniques
β
Ability to read & interpret technical drawings & blueprints
β
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
β
Attention to detail & ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
β Experience in 5-axis CNC programming
β Knowledge of GD&T and ISO standards
β Experience with 3D printing & additive manufacturing
β Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
β Basic knowledge of robotic automation & CNC simulation software
